πPolyphasic sleep
- tags
Polyphasic sleep is an idea that you can split your sleep in multiple short sleeps and get enough energy from 2-3 hours of sleep per day.
That is not scientifically proven, is unlikely to work, and can be dangerous. So better donβt do that.
- the idea goes against our biology
- there is no evidence any polyphasic sleeper has succeeded in setting up the regime, though we have many evidences of failure
- most examples of great polyphasic sleepers in history are non-verifiable, many are verified to be monophasic
- biphasic sleep is a better alternative (and actually works)
