Polyphasic sleep is an idea that you can split your sleep in multiple short sleeps and get enough energy from 2-3 hours of sleep per day.
That is not scientifically proven, is unlikely to work, and can be dangerous. So better donβt do that.
the idea goes against our biology
there is no evidence any polyphasic sleeper has succeeded in setting up the regime, though we have many evidences of failure
most examples of great polyphasic sleepers in history are non-verifiable, many are verified to be monophasic
biphasic sleep is a better alternative (and actually works)
