📝Inconsistent/unfair job titles don’t grant assumed credibility

Job titles grant assumed credibility. However, improperly managed job titles lose their credibility.

If my own assessment of persons’ skills frequently doesn’t match their assigned title/level, I loose trust in titles being fair and representing anything useful.

  • Is this related to title inflation? Probably not entirely: if consistent and fair, title inflation could still be trusted.
