It is important to distinguish Governance and Operations.
Operations is everyday operation (getting things done)
Governance is a meta-level (how we work?)
Governance is often implicit and invisible but it is detrimental to getting things done (operations).
Practices that make governance explicit:
Scrum—retrospectives allow introduction of new rules and restructuring
Holacracy—via governance meetings
