§ Zettelkasten

While Zettelkasten is about developing ideas, not collecting them, it is still useful to archive resources/references to avoid link rot.

Projects:

• ArchiveBox—fetches page with multiple methods, downloads videos, git repos, etc. Bad storage layer (all files must be present on the fetcher computer)

• Perkeep—general archiving tool that uses content-addressable store. Great storage layer, no direct support for web archiving, or serving archived pages.

• SingleFile—a browser extension to save pages as single-HTML files (by inlining images as base64 blobs)

• pywb—has a WARC viewer
