Zettelkasten is a separate entity that has its memory (only partially) mapped. If used constantly, a kind of secondary memory, an alter ego will arise with whom one can communicate.
It is similar to our own brain in that it is not completely ordered, nor hierarchical. There is no fixed internal structure.
Some things will get lost, and some cards are filled never to be seen again.
