Many teams prefer the name “decisions” over the abbreviated “ADRs.”

When you have a “decisions” directory, everyone starts putting decisions there (vendor, planning, scheduling, etc.)
People are motivated to write work-in-progress documents when there is no “record” word
Some developers and managers dislike the word “architecture”
